Army Public School and College (APS&C) Mangla is located in the heart of picturesque Baral Colony Mangla Cantonment. It was established as a Play way Nursery School (Kehkashan) in February 1979, progressively the level of the school was raised to the status of Secondary School and given the name of Army Public School Mangla in 1992, First batch of students passed matric examination in 1994, with distinguished performance and since then it is improving its standards. Responding to the needs of the community at large and with the aim of providing quality education at all levels, it has been upgraded as a College in 2003. It is a high level educational institution run by Headquarters 1 Corps under the chairmanship of Commander 1 Corps. It functions in accordance with the general guide lines issued by the Federal Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education and Army Education Directorate. The College has strength of approximately 1400 students.
Army Public School & College Mangla Cantonment aims at providing quality education and inculcating moral, intellectual and leadership qualities in the children in clean and healthy environments. The College has qualified and competent teaching staff ensuring that the education provided to the children is in consonance with the accepted principles of teaching and emphasis is laid on diligence, patriotism, integrity and good conduct. It is ensured that every student is given personal attention. It also provides opportunities to the students to develop their mental and intellectual abilities in a way that they become highly motivate members of the society.
